Dr. Cao graduated with a M. D. degree from Peking University in 2008, and is currently an associate chief physician and director of Medical Oncology and Radiation Sickness at Peking University Third Hospital. He is working on cancer chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy, especially of lung or gastrointestinal cancers. His research interests focus on personalized prediction of efficacy and toxicity/side effects of systemic treatment since 2005. Dr. Cao is served as the vice chairman of Lung Cancer Youth Expert Committee of Beijing Medical Reward Foundation, member of Clinical Research Committee of Beijing Cancer Society, and director of Beijing Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Education Research Association. He is also involved in editorial board of “Chinese Journal of Lung Cancer” and works as a peer reviewer of the journals including “Acta Pharmacol Sin”, “Asia Pac J Clin Oncol”, “Thoracic Cancer and Chin J Cancer Res”.
