Jun-E Liu , Ph. D., is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Capital Medical University School of Nursing. She is also a member of Beijing Municipal People's Congress and its Professional Committee on Aging. She now serves as the reviewer of “Chinese Journal of Nursing”, the director of Nursing Branch of Cancer Rehabilitation Society of CACA (CRS) Academic Committee, the deputy director of Health and Rehabilitation Branch of China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, and the member of Chinese Psychosocial Oncology Society, etc. She has rich experience on clinical nursing, and university teaching, scientific research and management. The research interests of Dr. Liu include cancer rehabilitation, geriatric care, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Using combined research methods, Dr. Liu developed psychosocial support intervention plans for cancer patients including the recovery of patients' physiological function, psychological state adjustment and the recovery of social activities. She has hosted two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and two projects funded by Beijing Natural Science Foundation. The research results has won one third prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award and one second prize of National Teaching Achievement of Higher Education. Besides, she has published 145 national journal papers, 19 SCI papers, and more than 10 books as the chief editor and co-editor.
