Wenhua Zhao, Ph.D., is a researcher and deputy director at National Institute for Nutrition and Health of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Zhao has published more than 150 papers as the first or corresponding author in national and international journals, as well as 8 coauthors and monographs. She had four national patents, and won the first prize, the second prize and the third prize of Science and Technology of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. Besides, she also won the second prize and the third prize of Science and Technology of Chinese Medical Association. She received the “Special Government Allowances of the State Council” in 2018. Dr. Zhao is also the chairman of the Chronic Diseases Branch of Chinese Preventive Medical Association, the national chief expert on nutrition and chronic diseases of China Association for Science and Technology, and the member of the WHO-UNICEF "Nutrition Monitoring Technical Advisory Group (TEAM)".
